work great! Installed in less than an hour!

I installed these on my 2003 Silverado extended cab. After getting married and upgrading from 33" to 35" tires, I had to get something for her to get in the truck without having to pole vault (she's 5'1)!!

Received everything needed. The directions were fairly limited, but the equipment is fairly self explanatory. There was no need for a torque wrench as some reviewers have suggested and installed in a snap with just a socket wrench and three different sockets.

I had the bars sprayed with Tuff Skin bedliner to avoid scratches and to match a few other accessories I have. They look beefy and feel durable!

I bought these bars as a replacement for my last pair if Westin's. I would not buy another pair of THESE bars again. They are nothing like the 3 1/2in round bars that I had. When I installed them, I bent the tube when I was tightening them down to the frame. They seem VERY cheap. Easy to install, but not the same quality as the 3 1/2in round bars.

Great addition to the truck

I had westin bars on a previous vehicle and was happy with them, which is why I went with them again for my Silverado. I decided to go with the oval design this time rather than the round to have more surface area.
The install was straight forward and easy to do by myself. Not sure how the other reviewer bent the bars, I thought the bars were good quality and had no issues when torquing down the bolts. As mentioned, the other vehicle has round bars, and both fit well with no complaints.
