This innovative new product incorporates existing mounting points to install a dual tray storage system right on your dash. Now you can easily store coins, pens, sunglasses, cell phones and other small items right in reach of both the passenger and driver. Installation is a snap; simply remove the original equipment screw covers on your dash, screw in the exclusive double headed mount and attach the Dash Organizer. It is that easy. Each Dash Organizer incorporates UV treated thermoplastic mounts and two trays with a painted aluminum cross tube for the ultimate in flexible design. Each tray can be mounted across the aluminum tube with thumb screw attachments. Rubber feet attached to the trays prevent rattling and provide a secure fit. The small tray has a special built in slot for MP3 players or cell phones with a belt clip (not included). Each tray has a special inchrecessed guide inch that can be easily drilled out to create an out-of-the-way power cord locator. This exciting design has a low profile and is designed to not interfere with driver visibility or air bag deployment.

Provides some much needed space!

I love my Jeep, but often became frustrated with the lack of space, particularly somewhere to stash the phone, a pen, etc. The Rugged Ridge dash organizer solves all those problems. I wish you could put the smaller tray on the passenger side, but it is not possible because of interference with the airbag. Making use of already existing holes in the Jeep means even my husband and I could install it in a little under an hour. Worth every penny.

Install was straightforward and easy. Does what it says it'll do and what is obvious in the pics. Nice additional handy storage. Shipped fast and very satisfied buying via Amazon. Does not interfere with sight line when driving.... checking out the whatnot as you drive by....

M6 Bolts Not Threaded Properly (Known Product Defect)

I want to be clear. I Love the product and am very disappointed on the quality control of the component parts. I received the product from Amazon promptly and upon attempting to install the product it became very apparent that the M6 dash standoff that is threaded on both sides was not threaded correctly. It needed to be threaded at 6mm so I loaded my five year old son in the Jeep and headed to Ace Hardware on New Year's Day to pick up a tap In order to rethread the bolts. As fate would have it I snapped off the tap about half way through and I also lost one of the dashboard cut outs as well. :). All in all not a great experience.

I contacted Rugged Ridge directly to see if they will simply send out the correctly threaded M6 standoff or I will have to send back to Amazon. I had read other reviews where the M6 was not threaded on one side so this is not a one off issue but a problematic problem with quality controls. I had a few other products from Rugge d Ridge ear marked as future purchases. I will reserve my full opinion based in how their customer service responds to my problem. I know Amazon will refund my purchase but that is not what concerns me. I will keep you guys informed.

Update: I was able to contact the Rugged Ridge Customer Service this morning and was impressed with the prompt and courteous response to my issue. They admitted that there was a Known Quality Control issue with the parts in question and will be sending out a replacement of the component parts today. I will update this review once the parts arrive and I can verify that this mitigates the problem.

Update: I contacted Rugged Ridge Customer Service again today three days after they committed to sending out replacement parts. I was informed that the parts had been shipped and are on track to arrive by the end of next week. The Company is shipping the parts from Georgia State to the State of Wa shington. Epic Fail. 8 business days for shipping is just simply unacceptable. They admitted that this was a known issue. There has been no update on their site or any known efforts to mitigate product in channel. The company is unwilling to spend a few dollars on priority shipping to mitigate a known issue. I will never buy Jeep aftermarket products from Rugged Ridge again.

Final Update: Replacement parts took nine days to arrive. I successfully installed the product in 20 minutes. Really like the finished product but the fact that Rugged Ridge had a known product quality issue that they kept to themselves is just not acceptable. I do not plan to purchase any additional products from them unless I have no other option.
