Only one thing could be better than this!

Eligible for Prime, so for roughly eighty-three bucks it was at my door in 2 days, while the local Toyota dealer wanted close to two hundred for the same item. The unit is complete, meaning this is not just the lens, but the bulbs and wiring harness. Took all of 15 minutes to remove the old, smashed one, and install the replacement. Only tool required was a #30 Torx drive for the two screws (accessible with the tailgate open).

There is, alas, one thing that would have been better than this economical and quick solution to my original act of stupidity --- if only I hadn't backed into that dumpster in the first place!

Just so you know, I shopped around on the net, and there was quite a range of prices. This was, shipping considered, in the low end of the price range, and some of the offerings were the lens only. Some of the complete assemblies were as much as twice this price. I'm not generally one to gush over retailers, but in my over ten years of sh opping at Amazon, they've repeatedly earned my trust. Whenever I've had a problem (and that's been pretty rare), they've rectified it promptly and courteously.

Great replacement taillight

Shipped fast, packed well, and was an exact match to the factory taillight. You can't tell the difference between this and the factory Toyota taillight. Easy to install. No complaints!
