Great Product

Used this on the gas tank on my 1971 Super Beetle. The tank only had light rust, but I wanted to make sure it didn't get any worse. It was a lot of work to go through the entire process, but I am very happy with the results. The silvery sealing paint looks amazing when you are stirring it. It cured to a rock hard coating that I am confident will protect the tank for a long time.

Follow the directions

I think the product works great. I think it would have worked even better if I stirred the sealer like the directions say. I shook the can (like one would do for a can of paint) instead of stirring, big mistake. The compound that settles to the bottom of the can is too heavy and thick to mix thoroughly by the paint shaker method. Do yourself a favor, get one of the cheap paint mixers that attaches to the end of a drill and mix thoroughly! I used the kit to seal the inside of 3 old motorcycle gas tanks. Even though I didn't follow the directions (don't shake, stir..) the POR is still holding up after a couple of years.

This product works great I used it to repair my caddy gas tank and I am very pleased with the results I recommend this product item arrived on time I also recommend this seller
