The jury is still out on the lasting durability of these headlights. So far, so good. I will make updates as time goes on. We badly needed to replace the headlights on our Pontiac Montana Minivan prior to a road trip to the beaches of San Diego and then on to Disneyland for a trip of 8 days. Our old headlight lenses were so oxidized that if not for the additional driving (running) lights, it would be too dangerous to drive at night. A quick replacement was mandatory prior to departure.

This being a second-hand vehicle, I did not want to spend big bucks getting the lenses replaced at dealership prices so I put in my Amazon order. The contents of the box contained the headlight assemblies (with bulbs) and sidelight assemblies separated by heavy brown paper. There are no instructions, but you can do a search on the Internet and you will find plenty of YouTube help videos to completely walk you through the installation process. As stated, the headlight bulbs were i ncluded inside the lens assemblies, but you will need to re-use your old blinker side lights.

A couple of tips I can provide is to please be very careful when removing the bulb assemblies from your old light housings. You will be re-using these fixed wire assemblies in the new housings and the plastic may have become brittle. The wrong amount of force upon removal can cause the locking connectors to crack. One of mine on the right-side blinker did crack, but I was lucky and able to super glue it, then JB Weld it. If it had cracked any worse, I would have had to stop completely because these bulb assemblies are hard-wired and don't seem to be replaced easily outside a dealership.

Another tip is before you begin to take out the old headlights, turn them on facing a wall in your garage or carport and mark the center of the beams with tape on the wall as a reference for adjusting the new lights after installation. Remove and install each light one at a time in case you need to reference the other side as you move along with the process. One of the adjuster rods tends to get in the way as you try to plug in the main headlamp wiring, but you will see that you can pop the adjustment rod away from its retaining clip, plug the wiring in, and then force the adjustment rod back into its retaining clip.

And finally, you will also need a 6mm Torx (star) socket for adjusting the headlights horizontally and vertically after you have completed the installation. Double-check this size before purchase if necessary. Do not let anything I've said scare you from making this purchase. The overall installation is quite easy and does not require technically inclined individuals to accomplish. Go watch a YouTube video and you will realize this.

My current assessment of the actual product is that it performed well on our trip. I still need to do some beam adjusting because the high-beams still don't seem quite right. As for lo ng-term lens durability, I will report back to see how clear they stay in our desert heat.

2Better light than the old faded factory units, but lower quality.

I bought these to replace the badly faded and fogged headlights on my van. As far as clarity, they are an improvement. In every other way they are worse. First off, they don't fit. They are close, but you really have to wiggle them around to get them in, and they don't line up exactly right. The adjustment screws are junk, and the light pattern created by the reflectors has some large dark areas that it does not cover (may be related tot he fact that you can't adjust the lights all the way down). I did save the brackets out of my factory units, so I may try to swap those out with the ones that these came with and see if they will help with some of these issues. They were cheap, so I guess it just shows that you pay for what you get.
