Have a #2 metric allen ready!

This is a great addition to the interior as it sets off the other chrome accents. It is NOT real chrome; but a thick plastic. It was easy to install once I realized that in order to get the shifter off the 2012 Challenger you have to put the car in drive (foot on brake of course) slide a butter knife between the chrome and leather on the stock piece and twist to separate it. Slide the leather knob off then put the shifter on. You will need a #2 metric allen wrench if one isn't included (wasn't with mine). DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. Just screw it so the screw is a hair more than flush. I threw a little Locktite on for good measure. That's all it took. DO NOT TWIST OR TURN the chrome collar on the stock shifter. It will not move and you will just break the part. Good luck. I love mine and it should come stock! Lost a star for not including instructions or a #2 allen. For $135 it should come with.

How could something so easy to install, less than 5 minutes, and so small, change the whole interior of my car and have so many people noticing it? This gear shifter rocks!

Installed it (very easily I might add) on my 2010 Dodge Charger SXT, and it looks wickhed pissah ked! That's a Boston accent BTW!
