Great accessory for a Jeep!

The soft top spent more time down than up, and was getting frayed... Replace it or go for the safari top?

Safari Top. Definitely the Safari Top.

Installation was a breeze, trivially easy with the directions provided, and far easier than removing the soft top. The other piece you need Bestop 51238-01 Bikini Black Windshield Channel goes on with a wrench, and the safari top fits right in and straps down. Get the leading edge of the safari to well seated and tight, or it can pop out and flap at the top of the windshield on the highway (voice of experience...)

It protects the backseat reasonably well in light rain, and with hard doors, doesn't leak on the front seats at all. For us, it is more of a sunshade, and does this very well.

And their is more space where the folded top used to rest.

The safari top is a first rate accessory for the Jeep, and I would get another in a heartbeat.

Cheap!

I bought the top in hopes it would fit perfect. One of the front velcro straps was only hanging on by two threads and the front corners bunch up by the top corner and doesn't look quite right. I don't hate it but it could have been make better.

Perfect fit!

The top came in on time and fit perfectly. Had my two middle school age kids help me put it on. Done in less that 20 min.
