I purchased the Rampage wire grille. I have to hand it to the folks at Rampage - I'd assume they are getting about 90% margin as it's an extremely simple product that can't cost them much.

The installation recommendations were pretty weak.
- they should tell you that after pulling the plastic fasteners, you need to then unclip the grill from right under the headlights (by pulling back gently and using a long screwdriver). Then you pull the clips at the bottom of the grill in the same fashion.

- they should recommend that you install the screws with the nut pointing to the sky if the grille were installed. This will help with installation.

It is what's advertised but should be priced at $50 but they don't have much competition so they can get what they ask.

When it's installed, it looks good.

Not what I thought but looks great

When I opened the box I was disipointed and I did not think, I got what, I paid for. I looked at the instructions and packaged it back up to ship it back. Well I did not get around to shipping it back for about a week and got off early and spent some time washing the Jeep. When I walked inside I opened the box up again and decided to put it on.

It took me about 45 mins and the job was complete, I did notice it was a tight fit when re installing the grill back on the jeep but got it on. I really like how it turned out but I still cant say it was worth the money but I am glad I kept it and it does give the Jeep a more custom look.

Watch Out!

I purchased this for my new Wrangler for the look and function. The install requires 2 holes to be drilled in the top of the grille to mount the 2 brackets. While applying the pressure needed to secure the mesh with the brackets, the mesh actually damaged the inner portion of the grille holes causing the plastic and paint to chip. The brackets don't even line up right and are hard to bend. I have found that many of the aftermarket kits like this have poor fitment and damage the vehicle. Stick with the Mopar inserts.
